Situated next door to number 1, the cottage is identical in layout, and size. We undertook a complete refurbishment  which was completed in December 2006. So as well as a fresh coat of paint it benefits now from new carpets throughout, a fully fitted kitchen, including dishwasher and washer/dryer, and a  new bathroom with bath, power shower and heated towel rail.  Heating throughout is provided by modern NSH. It therefore offers all mod cons whilst maintaining its original features and character.

The cottage has a lakeland stone open fireplace in the living room, which is also amply equipped with books, games, maps, videos CDs and DVDs to help you relax after a day on the fells.


It does not have a separate garden, but the cottages are  flanked on both sides by the fells, and the cottage does have a bench on the front terrace area outside to catch the sun from morning to night.  The price is £275 in low season, £375 mid season and £475 in high season.

Although Number 2 has no seperate garden it is still very pet friendly as the cottages are flanked on both sides by the fells!
