Number 2 Helvellyn Cottage - Lake District self catering holiday cottage near Ullswater
Number 2 Helvellyn cottage offers excellent self catering holiday accommodation for four people in an elevated position above Glenridding in the Lake District. Situated next door to Number 1, the cottage is identical in layout and size.
Downstairs
Open plan living room and dining room, with 2 arm chairs, a 2 seater sofa, wood burning stove, dining table and 4 chairs. There is a small plasma TV with freeview satellite television, Video and DVD player, CD player and good selection of books, maps, games, DVDs and videos.
Fully fitted Kitchen, recently refurbished with new hob and electric oven, wooden worktop, stainless steel sink and draining board, plenty of cupboard space and a built in dishwasher. There are a good range of pots, pans and kitchen utensils to ensure you can self cater in style. There is also a small separate utility room with a large fridge/freezer, microwave and a washing machine.

Front double Bedroom, with double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, with wonderful views of the fells from the Window. The smaller twin bedroom at the rear has two full size single beds. The bathroom has been recently renovated with a bath, overhead power shower, sink and toilet and heated towel rail.
The cottage has recently been fully refurbished and now benefits from full central heating throughout. It therefore offers all mod cons whilst maintaining its original features and character.

Outside
Cottage number 2 does not have a separate garden, but it is still very pet friendly as both the cottages are flanked on both sides by the fells, and the cottage does have a bench on the front terrace area outside to catch the sun from morning to night. There is off street parking for at least one car at the side of the cottages.
